Leah Dill, MD

Dr. Leah Dill is a highly qualified and experienced bariatric surgeon who has performed over 6,000 minimally invasive procedures and has a strong focus on obesity, endoscopy, anti-reflux, and laparoscopic procedures. She has completed her general surgery residency at Oklahoma State University and has also completed fellowships at Duke University and Ethicon Endosurgery. She is board certified in general surgery and has been practicing for over 16 years. In addition to her surgical expertise, Dr. Dill is also an expert in the treatment of acid reflux and heartburn, and is one of only a few surgeons in Texas certified in the placement of the LINX Reflux Management System. She has been recognized with the “Patient’s Choice Award” in 2010 and 2011 and has appeared as an expert on the CW-33 “Best Doc’s Network”. In her free time, Dr. Dill enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She is a member of various professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Dill has been featured as an expert on the CW-33 “Best Doc’s Network” and has received the “Patient’s Choice Award” in 2010 and 2011. She is currently the co-director of the Heartburn Center of South Texas, where she specializes in treating patients with acid reflux and heartburn. She is one of only two surgeons in South Texas who is certified in the placement of the LINX Reflux Management System.
